The team
We come from backgrounds in cryptography, security, and Internet infrastructure. Tanya built Internet security systems at Cloudflare used by billions. Jules did his PhD in trusted hardware and confidential computing at MIT, with experience at NVIDIA and Microsoft Research. Sacha did his PhD in cryptography at MIT on secure computation.
We knew there was a better way to deploy AI, one that didn't have to expose everything to third parties. Our experience gave us a good perspective on what was possible and what technologies existed at our disposal to accomplish this goal, and we decided to found Tinfoil.
We build in public. Our code, our security assumptions, and our tradeoffs are all out in the open. We are looking for people who are technical and independent, but above all, we are looking for people who care about the mission as much as we do. If you think that's you, please get in touch!
